Install Pervasive SQL Client over an Existing Pervasive Workgroup...

Issue
This error may occur when installing Pervasive Client on a workstation that was previously running the Pervasive workgroup engine.
Having uninstalled Pervasive Workgroup and successfully executed Pervasive System Analyzer to remove its components, install of Pervasive Client on this workstation may return the following error:
You are attempting to install pervasive SQL client over an existing Pervasive workgroup. Please uninstall the existing pervasive SQL through Add/Remove program and install the desired program

Solution or Workaround
Remove the residual components with the following:
1- Go to regedit \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software\odbc\odbc.ini
2- Identify and remove only the folders that pertain to the Pervasive Workgroup.
3- Retry the installation of Pervasive Client on the workstation.
