"Unable to write license file" Error Occurs when Installing

The following error may occur when installing:

Unable to write license file

stone

Solution or Workaround

Install System Manager and its latest service pack before installing other modules. System Manager has to be installed first.

The error can be caused by incorrect permissions to the Shared data folder, ensure correct permissions have been assigned. Also make sure the files are no set to Read Only.
