MSCRM Workgroup Edition

 

Overview

MSCRM Workgroup Edition replaced MSCRM Small Business Edition (SBE) when version 4.0 launched in December 2007. Previously, SBE ran on Windows Small Business Server (SBS) exclusively and scaled to 75 named users. While the replacement Workgroup Edition continues to run SBS, it is now limited to a maximum of 5 named users. For 6 users or more, therefore, companies will need to use either MSCRM Professional or Enterprise Editions.
